Arnold Meiring Builders & Renovators did an extensive renovation to our house in Camps Bay in 2014. From the beginning Arnold was a pleasure to work with. His quotations and costings were detailed and accurate. We had to demolish 90% of the house and rebuild from foundations up. The building site was always kept clean and organized, his employees were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, punctual and the communication between all was very good. There was always a solution to any problem that evolved. The project was predicted to take 9 months and his team were successful in completing it on time and within budget, which is extremely rare in this industry. All in all the entire project from beginning to end exceeded our expectations and we are very thankful and fortunate to have worked with him and would highly recommend him for any renovation or new build.
I did a major renovation project with AM and overall the process was smooth and actually a pleasure! His transparent approach to costing means that there is no push to spend more and decisions can be taken throughout the process rather than being seen as costly “departures” from some original plan. Also when problems were encountered I experienced a proactive approach to identifying alternative solutions.
